Following the success of last year’s first ever The Japan Rail Fair, JAPAN RAIL CAFE is back for another virtual trip with TJRF 2021 (16–17, 23 October 2021)! To coincide with Japan’s Railway Day (14 October), The Japan Rail Fair will feature a fun-filled week of interactive webinars and activities for all to learn about railway travel in Japan—two of which will be conducted by the friendly crew from JR East Hachinohe Train Depot and Fukushima Train Depot respectively.

Known as the "Mikan Village", Arida City in Wakayama Prefecture is the largest producer of mikan oranges in the whole of Japan. It's possible to enjoy mikan and other citrus fruits all year round—from April to August, mikan oranges are grown in greenhouses, and from late September to December, they are cultivated in the great outdoors.
