Agritourist Park and JR Fruit Park Sendai Arahama
As a symbol of revitalisation of an area that was heavily devastated by the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami 10 years ago, the JR Fruits Park Sendai ARAHAMA is a new agri-tourist facility that will be opening in March 2021. This unique farm is where you can enjoy picking a variety of fruits and vegetables throughout the year. To make your visit even more fruitful, there is also a cafe and restaurant “les pommes” which serve delicious dishes and desserts made with the freshly-harvested fruits and vegetables from the farm itself. Hideyoshi
Our company was founded in 1689. In the Houreki Era (1751-1764) the feudal lord of Akita, Lord Satake, praised our brewery’s sake by giving it the name “Hideyoshi” which translated means “Extremely Good!” Shortly after that, Lord Satake made Hideyoshi Sake the official sake of his house. Ever since then, Hideyoshi has been a household name treasured by our local community.
Today our vast collection reflects the unique tastes and flavours of our local area. From our use of locally cultivated rice, and fresh local water, our goal is to create delicious sake that respect and care for our local community. By doing so, we believe our company can help preserve the rich culture and traditions of Akita.
However, nothing gives us greater satisfaction than bringing joy to our customers. That is why we at Hideyoshi work tirelessly to create sakes that continue to surprise and delight our fans around the world.

NIIZAWA SAKE BREWERY Co.,Ltd.
Established in 1873, NIIZAWA SAKE BREWERY Co.,Ltd. has been brewing Atagonomatsu since its founding, and it continues to be loved by our local community. The current president, fifth-generation Iwao Niizawa, became Miyagi Prefecture's youngest brewmaster in 2000 and created the Hakurakusei brand in 2001. The Hakurakusei pioneered the idea that there should also be a food-pairing sake, not only for a pre-meal or post-meal drink , that intensifies the flavors in the dishes it is paired with. Hakurakusei can now be enjoyed all around the world.

Obako Shokuhin
Since its establishment in 1980, we have been engaged in the integrated production of Iburi-gakko: from radish cultivation to smoking and pickling. In order to deliver safe and delicious radish to everyone, the raw radish is 100% self-cultivated and cultivated with low pesticides—mainly with the use of organic fertilizers. In addition, we are particular about using Akita Prefecture's local products. Each one is made using oak and cherry trees grown locally in the prefecture. We are thoroughly committed to manufacturing methods that do not use synthetic colouring agents, synthetic sweeteners, or preservatives, and can be enjoyed by all generations. Please enjoy Akita's speciality: Iburi-gakko.

Sakura Foods Co., Ltd.
A popular local tsukemono (pickled side dish), “Iburi-gakko" is a type of pickled radish that is made using a method unique to the rural areas of Akita, especially in the mountainous areas, where the radish is smoked instead of sun-dried before the pickling process. The iburigakko under the “Sakura Foods” brand are made painstakingly by hand, one by one—from the early stages of “radish rope knitting” where the radishes are bound and hung in a special shed, to the “rope knitting radish smoking” process where highly-skilled craftsmen are required to monitor the environment of the iburigakko in the smokehouse for 3 consecutive nights. After being smoked, the radishes are soaked in rice bran flour and raw sugar, where the pickling process begins. At “Sakura Foods”, we will continue to preserve the taste introduced by our predecessors for all to enjoy.

Sanriku
Offshore of Sanriku is a rich fishing ground known as one of the "three major fishing grounds in the world". Facing the open sea with rough waves, it is also a difficult place to cultivate.
Near the coast, there is unique terrain of the forest where the nutrients from the forest flow into the sea which aids the growth of abundant seaweed which attracts various marine life such as abalone and Uni (sea urchin).
We believe that the ingredients and products produced naturally by the locals of Kita Sanriku have the potential to be highly regarded in the global market.
Let us show you the wonder that is Kita Sanriku. We produce the best products with the best ingredients of Kita Sanriku, and aim for a future where our products are widely supported by food lovers all over the world.
